  1. PM-PRANAM Scheme: A government scheme to reduce the use of chemical fertilizers and promote the use of biofertilizers and organic fertilizers. It is funded by the savings from existing fertilizer subsidies.
  2. Increased FRP for Sugarcane: The Fair and Remunerative Price (FRP) for sugarcane has been increased to Rs 315 per quintal for the 2023-24 season, and deductions will not be made in cases where sugar mill recovery is below 9.5%.
